Who are we?

Oakwood is part of  the Apostolic Church of Great Britain. We are also a member of the Evangelical Alliance UK.

What is our vision?

Our vision is ‘to be the people God wants us to be, a Pentecostal people with a passion for the lost’ and our mission statement is ‘To worship God, love people and make disciples.’ All of this can be summed up in our purpose, which is to explain and show the relevance of Jesus to others.

Where do we meet?

We meet in Oakwood Church, Obridge Road, Taunton, TA2 7PU every Sunday morning at 10.30am.

How do we care for each other?

We encourage everyone to attend a midweek home group where bible topics are taught and explored in a relaxed environment. This is also a place where prayer support and ministry can be given and received as we care for one another.

We take seriously our responsibility to protect, safeguard and promote the wellbeing of those who attend our activities and events. A copy of our safeguarding policies for children and young people and for adults at risk is available from the administrator, or from our designated safeguarding officers (details below).
