When it comes to prayer, Isaiah 62 inspires us to 'give the Lord no rest' & this is an opportunity to do just that - to call on His name, to seek His face & to press into intercessory prayer on behalf of the Oakwood Church, it's people & it's mission.
We recognise the vital importance of prayer in the life of a Christian and in the life of the church. The Bible calls us to pray individually and corporately.
Our weekly rhythm of prayer centres around 'Pursuing His Presence' on a Thursday evening at 7.30pm. We come together on Zoom, seeking to meet with the Lord, to encounter Him and to be encountered by Him. We come together with no other agenda than to meet with Him, to seek the face of God, to hear from Him and to be changed by His presence.
