Full time - Shared Youth worker
Taunton Youth for Christ & Oakwood Church
We are looking for an energetic and collaborative individual with a pioneering spirit to work with young people in Taunton. Employed as a member of Taunton Youth for Christ, your time will be split equally between establishing youth ministry within Oakwood Church and continuing the vision for Taunton Youth for Christ. You will be responsible for growing and leading the youth work within Oakwood Church and you will join the established Taunton Youth for Christ team, focusing on Outreach and discipleship.
We are seeking a leader with the ability to work in a range of environments, both inside and outside the local church context. The role requires someone with a passion for Jesus, a heart for young people and a desire to see their lives changed by Jesus.

Occupational requirements
• Post holder is Christian and can work within the Youth for Christ statement of faith, in accordance with part 1 of schedule 9 of Equality Act 2010 and our Code of Conduct.
• Suitable references will be required from the successful candidate.
• Enhanced DBS check will be required.
40 hours a week - £22,000 - £24,500 PA
